We signed up Jordan for his first little league team. They did not have enough head coaches, so somehow Javier got talked into becoming a head coach instead of just a volunteer.
OK - here is the hillarios part. We got the coach info today and guess what Javi and Jordan's team is called??? dum da da dah - Drum roll please!

Wow, doesn't that sound fierce?!!! Jordan said they should be the Luck Nuts. Why Lansing? I don't get this little league stuff. Well, we'll have to make the best of it so . . . . . Goooooo LUG NUTS!!!!

the names of all the teams seemed odd -why in the world did they pick "northern" cities when we don't live in the north? and a lug nut? I can't believe we're going to be yelling "go lug nuts!" :) at least the kids will get a kick out of it!

Alex was anmd still is in Baseball and now he is playing Football with the big team at his high school. Little boys are FUN and you have 2 more comming :)

If you weren't aware, the Lansing Lug Nuts are a minor league baseball team from Lansing, Michigan. Go MSU!(East Lansing) I believe the name was selected because of the large Oldsmobile auto maker plant in Lansing for many years. My grandfather worked there most of his life as an automobile engineer. I'm sure that more information than you needed! Good Luck Jordan! Bake
